Schindler's Factory, also known as Oskar Schindler's Enamelware Factory, was a metal item factory owned by Oskar Schindler, a German industrialist, and member of the Nazi Party during World War II. The factory is located in Kraków, Poland. During the Holocaust, Schindler used his factory as a way to save over a thousand Jews from the concentration camps by employing them as workers. He spent his fortune and risked his life to protect his Jewish workers from persecution and death. The story of Schindler's Factory and his efforts to save Jews was immortalized in the 1993 film "Schindler's List," directed by Steven Spielberg. Today, Schindler's Factory serves as a museum dedicated to the history of Kraków under Nazi occupation, as well as the story of Oskar Schindler and the Jewish workers he saved. This is a great tour and highly recommended if you are visiting the Schindler factory, Ewa our guide was so knowledgeable and she brought the whole era to life, you could almost imagine being there....the subject is very sobering and emotional but something everyone should experience if they can.. Thank-you Ewa for a wonderful tour. Andrew & Angela x

Our guide was excellent! She thoroughly covered Schindler’s museum which included a lot of content about life in Krakow during Nazi occupation. She also did a wonderful job teaching us about the Jewish Ghetto. She also shared some of her personal family experiences during the war. Wonderful way to see Schindler’s Museum and the Jewish Ghetto together
