What People Are Saying About Florence
With two routes that were running in November, we got to see a lot of Florence and have great views from a hill above the city. The recordings gave interesting information and the headphones worked well. We had expected a live guide, but this didn't happen. The employees on the bus were friendly and the bus driver drove well.
Antonio was a great guide and teacher on how to work the Segway. It was lots of fun and we are in our late 60s!!!
You can see the sights in a day. Take the Options for all routes A, B and C. We started with Route A, midway switched to Route C to take a trip to the countryside. It was well worth the money - they stop at all the right places
You will not be able to see the main attractions from the bus.The bus only stops nearby so that you could walk to them.
Confusing to start with when we arrived at the train station in Florence. It says "Meeting point" on the voucher but infact it is actually the 1st bus stop (outside McDonalds) where you exchange the voucher for a ticket once you board the bus. Once we got that sorted we had a fantastic day hopping on and off the bus. There are 3 routes you can choose from. It was a very hot day when we did the trip and got a little cooked up on top. A good tip is to sit at the back on the open area because the canopy gives some shade.
