Pachetia Hill is a hill in the middle of the city, which offer a 360o degrees view for the blue City. Clock Tower in Jodhpur was built during the reign of Maharaja Sardar Singh Mehrangarh Fort Following its foundation in the mid-15th century, Mehrangarh Fort has been built by its many owners in multiple styles. As a result, it has diverse architecture styles pertaining to the phase of its development. Mehrangarh Fort architecture is a potpourri of styles. jaswant thada This white marbled architecture is a memorial site of a Rajput clan. This cenotaph was built in the 19th century by Maharaja Sardar Singh in the memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, the 33rd Rathore ruler of Jodhpur.

Mehrangarh Fort- The 5 km long majestic fort on 125 m high hill is one of the most impressive & formidable structures. Although invincible from the outside, the defence has four gates approached by winding road. Within the fort are some magnificent palaces with marvellously carved panels, latticed windows and evocative names. These are the Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Sileh Khana & Daulat Khana. These Palaces house a fabulous collection of trappings of Indian royalty including a superb collection of palanquins, elephant howdahs, miniature paintings of various schools, musical instruments, costumes. 2. Jaswant Thada-The imposing white marble memorial marks the site of a royal crematorium. It houses portraits of successive rulers. The four cenotaphs around here commemorate notable acts of bravery and generosity of the four successive rulers. 3. Umaid Bhawan Palace-This exquisite palace is also known as Chittar Palace, Because of the local chitter sandstone used. It is a splendid example of Indo-colonial art and deco style of the 30s. A unique feature of this palace is that the hand-chiselled sandstone blocks have been put together in a unique interlocking system: there is no mortar binding. 4 . Mandore Garden- Mandore, located about 9 kms north of the main Jodhpur city, was once the capital of the kingdom of Marwar before Rao Jodha moved it to Mehrangarh and the newly founded city of Jodhpur. This proud village was home to a substantially large fort and township. After subsequently moving to Jodhpur and the declining importance of Mandore, it did not see the sort of progress as did Mehrangarh. So, all that remains today are some assorted buildings and the exquisite Mandore Garden. 5. Clock Tower & Sadar Market : The clock tower is a popular landmark in the old city. The vibrant Sardar Market is close to the tower, and narrow alleys lead from here to a bazaar selling vegetables, spices, Indian sweets, textiles, silver and handicrafts. It is a great place to ramble around at leisure. Lastly, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Jodhpur. If you wish, however, we can drop you off somewhere in the city center of Jodhpur instead - totally up to you.
