Comparing Ajanta and Ellora, Ajanta takes longer to go and return, but the cave ruins themselves are compact, so you don't have to walk that much. On the other hand, Ellora has caves spread over a wide area, so if you want to see everything, you will have to walk quite a bit, and it will take longer than Ajanta. With that in mind, I think it's a good idea to discuss the two-day itinerary with the tour company in advance. Also, this was a tour without a guide, but the driver Tausif explained the scenery along the way, and even though India has strong driving manners, he prioritized the customer's consciousness and drove safely, and was very gentle and considerate of the passengers, so it was good that I could use it for the time to and from Ajanta without feeling bored or awkward. There is no strong solicitation at the usual restaurants and silk weaving shops, so you can decide whether to buy or not and what to buy at your own discretion. The most important thing was that the driver was the same for both days, so I felt safe and relaxed. I also really liked how they proactively tried to communicate with me using StarHorse's translation app, despite my poor English.

Wonderful tour of the incredible Ajanta and Ellora Caves. Our guide, Depak, made the tour very well worthwhile. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the caves, the Hindu and Buddhist religions and of course about India. His calm disposition and ability to navigate through the sites helped make the two day trip enjoyable. The caves are really incredible and very worth the effort to visit over two days. The driver and car were great and the drives were good. The road to Ajanta was a little bumpy but not too bad. The caves in each location are different enough that it's worth seeing both sites if you have the time. We also had sugar cane water from a vendor that was delicious and Depak took us to delicious restaurants for lunch. Pick-up and drop-off were very easy - we were picked up from our hotel and taken to the airport on our second day for our evening flight home. I highly recommend the tour and request Depak if you want a fantastic guide.

Had a great day thanks to Mr. Siraj (guide) who shared his immense knowledge about the sites, and the reliable and safe transport provided by Mr. Bharat. Would have spent 2 days on it if I had more time but this way I got the most out of 1 day.

I was satisfied with being able to visit two places in one day. There are many things to see at Ellora Ruins, so it's better to decide which places to visit first.

Excellent! Our driver Mohd was super helpfull and nice with us. He made everything easier. I would recommend him always
