It was our best time/day in Crete! We are kinda people, who don’t like the full crowded developed beaches. We need just the blue see, the sand, fishes and shells to see. So it was the perfect place to us. On the island was just the ca. 50 people from the boat, and a few from an other boat. We went a little far from them, and we were alone just the wild nature and the breathtaking see with Crystal clear blue water! It was our first time from jumping from a boat and swimming to the land, but it is not dangerous at all, if you can swim. You can borrow life jacket from the boat. We felt safety us. The water and the weather was warm in the middle of September. We bought a waterproof bag in Ierapetra on the coast, it is practical, for towels, phones, sunscreens and sunglasses(important! There aren’t any shadows) Bring watershoes too! The guide was perfect, the tour guide lady was very kind, helpful and informative, thank you Tanja! 🥰 Absolutley worth it! ❤️

The approximately 1 hour journey to Chrissy Island was quiet and pleasant. There are snacks and drinks on board, but nothing unpleasant is said. The ship currently stops about 50m from the island's jetty, and you have to swim the rest of the way (a waterproof bag is recommended, which could be purchased on board for €15 in an emergency) or you can be taken to the beach in a small, motorized inflatable boat. The island and the water there are very beautiful. Snorkeling is recommended directly in the area of the jetty. Attention: There are a lot of lionfish just below in the gaps between the jetty wall. The sight of several of them lurking in the dark "holes" is really impressive. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend the excursion, even if you are not allowed to enter the entire island (no one checks that...).

It was really a lot of fun. The only thing I felt sorry for was the lady who didn't know that the ferry wasn't docking and that she would have to swim to the island if she wanted to visit it. Since she had nothing with her, she could only spend the time on the ship. So maybe more information about that since we could actually only glean it from the past recessions.

A great trip to a Caribbean-like idyll. The path from the boat to the beach could be covered by swimming. We wanted to be taken to the beach in a small motorized inflatable boat. Wrote for the beach and was available to borrow on board. The crew on board was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Clear recommendation

Chrissi Island was a beautiful island! The excursion was SO nice. The boattrip was also very relaxing. Only our guide was (I think) a little bit grumpy, maybe it wasn't her best day. But the overall excursion was so good I would recommend it to anybody!
