Our Small Group day tour to Unesco world heritage Dolomites Mountains very early departure is to guarantee a better experience in an area that year after year has seen a growing number of visitors . Leaving early will allow us to beat the crowds and enjoy an overall more rewarding experience. The tour features the famous Dolomites town of Cortina, the awe-inspiring Tre Cime di Lavaredo that you will see from various scenic viewpoints, and the beautiful mountain Lakes. Spend plenty of time at lake Misurina, where you’ll have the opportunity to walk around the lake, stop at one of the nice restaurants around the lake or in summer take a cable lift up to Col De Varda ( not included in the price- about 13 € per person) mountain hut for walking opportunities and offering enchanting views over Lake Misurina and the famous Dolomites mountain ranges, such as Sorapis and Mount Cristallo. Enjoy numerous scenic stops at panoramic viewpoints throughout the day before returning back to Venice at about 6.00pm In Winter months we will feature Cortina, Enchanting Lake Braies and the beautiful village of San Candido right on the border with Austria. Christhmas markets in the village to be enjoyed until beginning of January 2024.

Head to Lake Braies where you can go for a walk around the lake or sit in one of the lakeside cafes and enjoy the magnificent view. Continue to the Refuge Auronzo for spectacular views of the peaks of Tre Cime di Lavaredo and valleys. Return to your meeting point in Venice at the end of your tour.

Depart Lake Garda and journey towards the Dolomites mountain range, stopping en route in the towns of Moena or Cavalese. Get some time to window shop and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate before traveling to the Pordoi Pass, 2,240 meters above sea level. Get stunning vistas of the mountains, including the summits of Marmolada, Sella, and Catinaccio. Enjoy some free time for lunch and soak up the views.  Then, visit a typical mountain resort in the afternoon and discover the wood carvings and beautiful wooden buildings of the village of Ortisei. Buy a souvenir from the Dolomites in one of the delightful shops before the return trip to Lake Garda.

Escape the crowds of Venice and take a day trip to the Dolomites, with stops at lake Santa Croce, Pieve di Cadore, Cortina, lake Auronzo, lake Misurina and Cortina. See fabulous scenery and get plenty of opportunities to take epic photographs. Pass through tunnels with astonishing views of canyons and valleys, which appear as if from nowhere. The scenery in this region is quite simply some of the most breathtaking in Europe. First stop at lake Santa Croce to admire the peaks of the Dolomites reflected in the crystalline waters and then at Pieve di Cadore for a short walk and maybe a cappuccino. We drive to the picturesque lake Auronzo, passing through enchanting mountain villages. Continue your trip towards lake Misurina, here you will have the chance to stroll around the lake with an optional lunch break and admire the mountain peaks of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and spectacular backdrop of Sorapis and Marmole. Otherwise take the panoramic chairlift to reach “Col del Varda” at 2106 meters (tickets not included, to pay on spot) and breathe the fresh mountain air, it will reward you with yet more unforgettable views of the Dolomites. After lunch (not included), we will finally arrive at the last stop: Cortina d'Ampezzo, nicknamed the “Pearl of the Dolomites,” you will have approximately 30 minutes free time to stroll around the town, and take in the picturesque views of the mountains. Cortina d’Ampezzo will host the 2026 Winter Olympics Games, the famous international multi sport event, also know as Milano - Cortina 2026. With eyes full of beauty and cameras full of memories to cherish, we will then catch our car ride back to Venice. Excursion by A/C bus with a guide. Early morning departure in a northerly direction towards South Tyrol. Together with our guide you will reach the Pordoi, having first crossed the Fiemme Valley, Canazei and Moena. At 2,240 meters of the Pordoi Pass there is free time for lunch. In addition you will have the opportunity to take the Belvedere cable car and climb up to the "Terrace of the Dolomites" (2.950 m) from where you can admire a breathtaking panorama with the most famous peaks: the Marmolada (the so called Queen of the Dolomites), the Sella and the Catinaccio. Later the trip will forward to Val Gardena where there will be a stop in the typical alpine village of Ortisei. In the afternoon return via Bolzano and motorway to Lake Garda.

Meet your guide and bus in Piazza Cittadella in the heart of Verona and start the trip! Let's take the toll street direction Dolomites. Have a stop for coffe before pass towards the Dolomites mountain range, stopping en route at Soraga Lake, and pass by the towns of Moena or Cavalese. Upon arrival at noon in Sass Pordoi, Canazei, your guide will inform you about the history of the area. Enjoy 2 hours free time for lunch and to soak up the views. Take the cable car to the summit and see the entire Sella/Marmolada mountains from the world known "Dolomites Terrace". Then, visit a typical mountain resort in the afternoon and discover the wood carvings and beautiful wooden buildings of the village of Ortisei. Buy a souvenir from the Dolomites in one of the delightful shops before the return trip to Verona. Concluding the tour, head towards Verona at around 4:30 PM and return to the pickup point between 7 PM and 7:30 PM.

Climb aboard a spacious van at the meeting point in Venice and become quickly immersed in the breathtaking region of Veneto, just outside the crowded city. Drive through the ever-changing scenery of the mountains, spending some time in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the ‘Queen of the Dolomites’. Walk around Lake Misurina, the ‘Pearl of the Dolomites’, and enjoy a splendid view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the area's representative peaks. On the way back, drive through the Prosecco road, which houses the finest vineyards and wineries producing the highest quality Proseccos. Finally, enjoy a glass of Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG wine at the famous Osteria senza Oste viewpoint before traveling back to Venice.

Begin your Dolomites day tour by getting picked up at Venice's Piazzale Roma, the large square in the city center. Drive for about 90 minutes to your first stop at Pieve di Cadore, a charming historic town with a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the lake of Centro Cadore. Then, go to Auronzo and enjoy a photo stop at the lake dam where you can sometimes see the water rushing through gates. Afterward, enjoy a long stop at Lake Misurina, also known as the “Pearl of the Dolomites”. Walk around the gorgeous lake and have lunch at a restaurant serving local food. In the summer you can rent a small boat to get around the lake or ride the panoramic chairlift to the Col de Varda Viewpoint (not included). Next, head to Cortina d'Ampezzo, the village that will host the next Olympic Winter Games in 2026. Have a walk through the most prestigious and well-known street of the Dolomites, the Corso Italia pedestrian area. Get dropped off back in Venice at the end of your tour.

Then, meet the guide at your hotel and set off on a hike to explore the Dolomites, famous for their peaks, deep valleys, and rugged cliffs. Put on your snowshoes and follow your experienced guide. Hike along the trails and marvel at the breathtaking views of the mountain range and snow-capped peaks. Learn how to recognize animal tracks, and hear many interesting facts about these mountains. Stop for lunch and eat some food that you have brought while taking in the spectacular scenery. Take some photos of your surroundings as well.
