We always start with the tasting of our 7 references, during which presentations are made and we all sit together to taste the wines accompanied by some typical local products. We tell the story of the wine you are drinking, how it was grown, when it was still grapes in the vineyard, and how it was processed in the cellar. Meanwhile, the dishes also arrive, within which you can find numerous typical local products, each to be paired with a different wine. We start with the Roero Arneis, the only white among the reds, a fresh and fruity wine: it is accompanied by tuna sauce. We then move on to red wines with Dogliani, which we usually pair with salami. First the Dogliani DOCG "Sambù", an easy to drink and light wine, which introduces the Dogliani DOCG "Superiore", more structured and complex. Nebbiolo and Barbera are paired with lard and bacon: the former is fresh and young, the latter is soft and fruity. Subsequently we will taste the Langhe "Excelso" blend of several wines to be tasted with meliga pasta (typical Piedmontese biscuit). And then the last but not least wine, the king of wines, the wine of kings: Barolo, to be tasted with cheese and cugnà (halfway between jam and sauce, it is made with fresh fruit and dried fruit ). After the tastings, we move to the cellar, where you can see how we work to create the wines you have just tasted: fermentation, the decanting and aging tanks, and finally the bottling and labeling phase.

Between the visit of the first and the second winery, your professional private driver will accompany you to one of the most iconic restaurants of Piedmont located in Barbaresco where you can enjoy local specialties and visit the famous town of Barbaresco. Undoubtedly, you cannot visit Piedmont without exploring one of the most beautiful villages Grinzane Cavour and admire its majestic castle. From here you will enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the central part of the region and discover the secrets of the winemaking through an educational path around the castle created by the local winemakers.

This renowned wine-making area is globally known for its production of high-quality wines, and this experience is the opportunity to sample some of the best that the area has to offer. You will try out a selection of 6 different glasses of either Barolo or Barbaresco, two best wines in the world, known for their complexity, depth, and aging potential. The tasting will take place in a cozy enoteca, where a wine expert will guide you through each glass explaining the differences between tecniques, terroir and soils used for each wine which result in deeply different tastes. Following a pickup from your accommodation in Turin, your personal driver will take to Alba in the Piedmont region, the gastronomical capital of Italy famous for its exquisite black and white truffles approximately an hour's drive away. Together with your truffle-hunting expert and well-trained dogs, you will search fertile ground to find your own truffles.   The real hero of the excursion is the dog who will keep moving through the trees and sniffing at the base of the trunks to find the truffles. Your guide will show you how to use special equipment to delicately pull out the truffles. During a walk through the woods, truffle experts will explain everything related to this culinary delicacy. After the hunting experience in the woods, you will be guided to the picturesque restaurant surrounded by an unforgettable landscape of vineyards. You will enjoy the excellent combination of truffle delicacies paired with famous Barolo wine. Following the lunch, your driver will take to Barbaresco village for a short walk around local heritage sites. Barbaresco village is surrounded by vineyards and characterized by its 30m 11th-century tower visible from miles around. At the end of this incredible experience, your driver will take you back to Turin in comfort while you enjoy the picturesque landscape of Alba.

The exquisite black truffle is harvested from the end of May until December, while the most expensive and rare – the white truffle – is hunted out between the end of September and December. Enjoy an appetizer with truffle snacks after the hunt before moving on to the main culinary event at lunch in a traditional restaurant with panoramic views of the local vineyards. Meals typical of the Langhe region include: gnocchi (potato dumplings with cheese), white mushroom risotto, tender agnolotti pasta, roasted rabbit with vegetables, veal with Barbaresco wine, homemade ice cream and semifreddo or panna cotta. A sommelier will help you choose the best combination of wine and the dishes you have chosen. After the meal, a wine tasting will be hosted at one of Barbaresco’s famous wineries. The building has belonged to a noble family of marquises since the 18th-century but the family’s own first wine began production in 1973. In a short time, it acquired a world renown as being one of the best producers of Barbaresco wines from its own vineyards, which exclusively grow the nebbiolo grape. A favorable microclimate allows the growth of high-quality grapes even during years in which the harvest is difficult. Recently, the winery has been considerably enlarged and provided with modern equipment for the production of wine of the highest quality standard – DOCG. At the end of the wine trip to the Langhe region, you will see the small but beautiful historical center of the town of Barbaresco, completely surrounded by its famous vineyards.
