Explore the idyllic Bernese Oberland and magnificent Jungfrau mountain region on a full-day tour from Zurich. The day includes free time to explore the famous mountain resorts of Grindelwald and Interlaken, located between 2 lakes. Journey through the countryside to Interlaken in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. After orientation, continue to Grindelwald, also known as “Glacier Village.” Lookout points provide stunning views of the impressive mountainscape, including the triple peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Take the cable car to the sunny terrace of Mt. First, where you can rent unique and fun Trottibikes to whizz down to town (optional, not included). In the early afternoon, return by train to Interlaken, where you will spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the region’s shopping paradise. Choices on offer include regional produce, precious jewelry, and Swiss watches. If you don’t want to shop, you can visit Interlaken’s Harder Kulm mountain. A funicular will take you to the top for breathtaking views (optional, not included). Breathe in the fresh mountain air before meeting your guide for the return journey to Zurich and the end of the tour. *** From 1 April 2025: The train journey from Grindelwald to Interlaken will be replaced by a bus transfer and an additional stop in Lauterbrunnen.***

Climb aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned coach and enjoy a scenic drive through the Zürichberg district with views of the city, the lake, and the Alps. See the highlights of Zürich, such as the castle-like National Museum, the shopping avenue of Bahnhofstrasse, and the famous financial district. Stop at the picturesque harbor of Enge and enjoy the beautiful vistas of the crystal-clear Lake Zürich. Continue past the Zürich Opera House and go into the Zürichberg district. See the patriarchal guild houses, Zürich Town Hall, and Europe's largest clock face on the Romanesque church of St. Peter. See the imposing cathedral of Grossmünster, and look at the Fraumünster church, whose stained-glass windows are by Marc Chagall. Take a 30-minute boat cruise on the pristine waters of Lake Zürich, then stroll along the shore to the newly-opened Lindt Home of Chocolate. See the world’s tallest free-standing chocolate fountain and join an audio-guided tour of the museum, followed by an unlimited chocolate tasting. Browse the gift shop before returning to Zurich Main Station. Ride the trolleybus and tramway to get familiar with Zurich's public transportation system. While your tour ends here, your 24-hour ticket allows you to continue exploring the town like a local and make use of public transportation.

Enjoy a 30-minute boat tour to Rhine Falls in Neuhausen am Reinfall. Relax on the boat and admire the landscape and scenery, see if you can spot any wildlife, and listen to the roar of the falls. Float along the calm waters, along the "Rheinish Amazon", all the way up to the German border. Learn about the history of the landscape and the native beaver, and admire the beautiful local scenery. Travel back upstream, where you will experience the thundering Rhine Falls up close as a glorious finale and marvel at one of the most powerful waterfalls in all of Europe. If you are travelling from Schloss Laufen, please allow sufficient time (approx. 15 minutes) for the crossing to Schlössli Wörth. The crossing is included in the ticket price.

Enjoy a day trip from Zurich to the winter wonderland of Mount Titlis with a guide. Discover the beauty of Lucerne, enjoy a scenic drive to Engelberg, experience an unforgettable adventure on the Ice Flyer chairlift, and cross the Titlis Cliff Walk bridge suspended over the Swiss Alps. Departing from Zurich, enjoy a scenic drive along the shores of Lake Lucerne en route to the city of Lucerne. Along the way, your tour guide will highlight the city's most notable landmarks and include a photo stop at either the Lion Monument or the lakeside, depending on traffic conditions. From the Rotair revolving cable car on your way up to the mountain, get spectacular views of the deep crevasses in the glaciers, and the immense chunks of ice that break off in spectacular fashion. Enjoy incredible views over the Swiss Alps from the Panorama Restaurant on top of Mount Titlis. Visit the Ice Grotto, or take the Ice Flyer chairlift to get up close to the glaciers at an altitude of over 9,800 feet (3,000 meters). Adventure seekers can slide through the snow and down the mountainside on a snow tube – the choice is yours.

Travel out of Zürich for a scenic tour through dramatic natural landscapes and historic landmarks. Come across quaint villages and vast vineyards, and take the lift to the Rhine Falls. Depart Zürich and journey towards the Swiss/German border of northern Switzerland. Travel through a beautiful wine-growing region of charming farming villages and picturesque landscapes en route to Laufen. See the splendid medieval castle of Schloss Laufen and the mighty Rhine Falls and experience Europe's biggest waterfall. Get unique views from the panoramic lift and discover what it looks like when an average of 700,000 liters of water per second plunges into the basin below. If you are feeling adventurous, take the optional boat ride and experience the falls from below. Continue via Schaffhausen with its famous Munot Fortress. Soak up the views of the gently rolling vineyards and farming villages en route to Stein am Rhein. Upon arrival, learn about the well-preserved old town during a stroll. See distinctive medieval buildings such as the church and former monastery of St. George's Abbey. Look at the half-timber frame townhouses, along with the city gates and towers, the Town Hall, and the Armory. Admire the delicate wooden window frames of many of the buildings and marvel at their exceptional frescoes.

Visit the incredible alpine world of Heidi on this bus day trip from Zurich. Take a walk in the Old Town in Rapperswil, have free time in the capital of Liechtenstein, and explore Heidi’s village of Maienfeld and in the summer months.   Enjoy pickup from an area next to the centrally-located Zurich HB train station. Board spacious coach and relax while taking in the views on the way to Rapperswil. Follow your guide to the picturesque Old Town and its Medieval Castle, before having some free time explore.  Continue on your journey through Ricken Pass with its panoramic views of the snow-peaked Alps. Travel on to Maienfeld, the setting for the Heidi stories.  Head up to Heidi’s village in the summer months (Mid March till Mid November) on a short walk that leads to a collection of picturesque mountain houses, a village shop, and a heard of goats. In the winter months, head to see the oldest houses of Switzerland in Werdenberg, which is famous for its beautiful castle. Finally, make the bus trip back to Zurich along the banks of Lake Walen, which is guarded by the majestic Churfirsten mountain range.
