The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Kyiv and travels to Zalissya National Park. Up until recent years, the park was an exclusive hunting reserve for USSR leaders and other heads of state. Now open to the public, the park is home to stunning scenery and an array of native wildlife waiting to be photographed. Follow your guide as you explore the park, which boasts sprawling snow scenes during winter and luscious green landscapes in summer and spring. Throughout the tour, capture photos of the park’s inhabitants in their natural surroundings, including deer, doe, bison, and more. In the warmer season, the animals prefer to live in the depths of the forest, but winter is the perfect time to catch them out in the snow on the hunt for food. Later, visit the Presidential Stables, home to prize-winning horses of various equestrian championships. Opt to ride one of these beautiful creatures, or keep your feet on the ground and feed them an apple or two. At the end of the tour, head to the Museum of Nature where you can learn more about Zalissya’s fascinating history and see historical photos of the park and its many distinguished guests.
