Overall rating
Our guide Marko was excellent in explaining the vast and diverse history of Croatia in general but also the Plitvice Lakes National Park, Rastoke Village etc! We had a good size group and did the activity within the given timeframe. Be prepared to spend the entire day outside with very little time for rest or sitting. We were moving and walking the entire time aside from the bus ride which was 3 hours each way. But I would still recommend it as it’s worth it! My husband and I had a great time although our legs got tired by halfway of the trip. It’s also very crowded during summer months but people are respectful and friendly so you can rest assured enjoy your time and have plenty of opportunities for pictures.
The experience was great, only the informant did not inform that the route of the area bus has a final 1200m from the departure point, which is a rather unpleasant surprise after completing such a route.
Clear directions, wouldn’t recommend a guide, better to go wander and figure it out with your friends or significant other. Very beautiful and definitely worth the money and time
