Full description
Leave Zagreb and head to the Lika region. The first stop on the itinerary is the picturesque watermill village of Rastoke, located at the confluence of the Slunjčica and Korana rivers. Take a stroll through the town to admire the unique rural architecture. The tour continue on to Plitvice Lakes National Park. This is Croatia’s oldest and most visited national park, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. For centuries, water has formed waterfalls and created 16 crystal-clear lakes in this area. Enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the forest landscape and the lakes that are connected by a series of waterfalls. Board an electric boat to cross Lake Kozjak and learn more about karst formations and the abundant animal life in the park. Become one with nature, enjoy the clean fresh air and marvel at the breathtaking views that surround you. The guide will be with you and your small group throughout the day, and will share some interesting stories about the areas you visit and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Fantastic day, even with the crowds. Our guide, Renate, was full of knowledge about Plitvice Lakes as well as other areas of Croatia. Not only was he informative, he kept us all together well, was careful to watch where we stepped, and took us on the less traveled paths. The sites are amazing—the falls, the turquoise waters and the greenery. A day well spent.

The lakes & waterfalls in this nature reserve are absolutely beautiful and I found the stories of our guide to be a really pleasant addition. Walking around independently is certainly possible, but thanks to Vlaj, the day just got even more colour. This tour in such a small group is therefore recommended!

Petra was amazing guide ♥️ way too informative and attentive. She really knows where to stop and when to continue walking, so you get little rest and fill up with energy, and don’t get tired till the end of the tour. She was also telling us history of Croatia and it’s villages/cities we went throught the way to the Plitvice lakes. Driver (sorry, cannot remember the name) was also very good. And the car was comfortable with good AC. Tour was amazing and definitely worth for the money. We enjoyed too much. Plitvice is amazing
