What to Expect
Expect to spend time on an island where time has stopped and tourism hasn't crept in. Don't be surprised when you see the area is way above its weight in terms of beauty, culture and history. Molat is the largest fisherman village and a hub for all activities.

Expect to use a kayak as a platform to discover literally tens of islands, reefs, beaches and coves. Swimming, diving, trekking, cycling and waterpolo are just some of the trip extensions (depending on your preference).

Physical fitness: Trip itinerary is easily adjusted to fit seasoned athletes as well as beginner paddlers.

Group size: There is a minimum of 2 people and maximum of 10 people per group.

Accomodation: You will stay in one of the handpicked beautifully restored old fisherman houses - new and cozy appartments operated by local families. Each room has its own private bathroom. Beds are normally double, with a few twin beds.

Gastronomy: One dinner is included in the package. Expect to try local island variant of brudet, pašticada, peka or grilled fish specialties.

Optional additional activities included in the price: There is an opportunity to add additional activities to the itinerary:
-Cycling on the small paved road along the island hilltops
-Waterpolo in one of Molat's beaches and deep water soloing (a slight extension of one of the trips) guided by the climbing and kayaking guide.

DAY 1, ARRIVAL

Meet at Molat dock as you get off your catamaran/ferry from Zadar. You check in to your accommodation and we hit the water. Your gear will be personalized and an  introduction course (by a certified ICU guide) to sea kayaking, sea safety and paddling technique will take place. You'll do a short exploration paddle to a nearby military caving system, and have a swimming break. In the afternoon you'll take a short hike to an archaeological site for some great views of the archipelago.

Highlights: Straža’s stone age settlement ruins.

Activity: 2 hours paddling, 1 hour swimming, 30 minute trekking

DAY 2

After breakfast, you'll head out from the base towards Dugi Otok Island, where you'll explore ex submarine caves and then head to the picturesque village of Zverinac, known for it's olive oil production. There is a local restaurant for an optional light lunch. After a swim you'll head back to Molat where one of our hosts will prepare dinner for you.
