Nice afternoon tea

Good afternoon tea, good variety of sandwiches and delicious cakes. Staff very helpful and polite. It was a very hot afternoon and the clotted cream was on the plates when we boarded so by the time we came to eat it it was very runny and spoilt. Sadly the quality of the commentary meant we couldn't understand it. Enjoyed the boat trip but had expected to see more of York. Booked for birthday celebration and enjoyed by all of the group of 8 of us

Excellent!

The afternoon tea was a super and relaxing fun time to learn about York's history and other facts. With good weather and company also perfect staff and the captain who all were very helpful, funny and knowledgeable who would answer all our questions and waited on their guests in a pleasureable manner. Thank you all for such a memorable afternoon and the gorgeous food.

lovely, lovely, lovely

Admittedly the weather was perfect so that added to our lovely experience on the boat, but would definitely do it again, whatever the weather. The staff were pleasant, the food was good & when we asked we did get more tea to drink but it would have been better if they had offered. We had waited 45 minutes to get a cup of tea with our food. which was disappointing, we would have liked it while we were eating, but we still had an hour to go so we could have waited to eat! We were on the upper deck which we really liked so if that was why it took a long time to be served it was worth it.
