Begin your day with pickup from your hotel and head to Setumbu Hill to witness the breathtaking Borobudur sunrise. After sunrise, you will have a free time before you can climb-up the structure of the temple. Then, you will explore the UNESCO-listed Borobudur Temple, the single largest Buddhist structure on earth. Ascend the temple and be awestruck by the panoramic views from the top level. Discover seated Buddha statues beneath each bell-shaped spire. Admire its grandeur, beauty, and uniqueness. See 2,672 relief panels and learn about Buddha’s teachings. Complete your journey by visiting the nearby Mendut and Pawon Temples (optional). Explore the wonder of the ancient world today. Once you have finished your trip, sit back and relax while your driver escorts you back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.

I really enjoyed the sunrise tour, unfortunately I was alone on my tour but my driver Atok made sure I had the best time. He also told me a lot about the history of Buddhism and Yogyakarta. I highly recommend taking the tour with him!

Our guide Yuni was the best! He explained us a lot of things and answered everything we asked. He really knows a lot about history and was also very friendly and kind. We asked to do a detour to visit another temple and to have a cup o luwak coffee, and he agreed happily. The entrance for the temple went smoothly as Yuni did all the work for us. We had a wonderful time and think the tour is definetely worth it.
