What to Expect
Yogyakarta is a developing city on Java Island, where ancient's sites stand as evidence of Hindu and Buddhist civilization hundreds of years ago. Borobudur and Prambanan temples are two of hundreds of archaeological sites in Yogyakarta. After exploring those places, you will be escorted to explore = natures and meets the locals 30-minutes from the city.

You will start exploring at a cave called 'elephant cave'. It is believed that the cave was used for meditation by ancient ancestors, as there is a natural statue forms as an elephant. This sacred place is very unique, as an elephant is a holy animal for Buddhists. There is only 400 meters of cave to explore, and you will find the elephant statue at the bottom of the cave. Then, you must climb back up to reach the surface.

Bikes will be prepared for you to cycle through villages, meet locals and even visit their homes to see the real activities that go on there and their traditional houses. The biking will end at the pine forest where you will have a break, take a breath of fresh air and enjoy traditional snacks and drinks.
