  1. Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi Scenic 1-Day Bus Tour

  Climb aboard the shuttle bus or join the tour at the Shinjuku departure point, and set off towards the Mt. Fuji area. On clear days, you will already be able to see Mt. Fuji from afar during the bus ride. Make the first stop at one of Japan's most iconic spots: Arakurayama Sengen Park. Admire the picture-perfect view of the 5 symbolic pagodas with Mt. Fuji in the background. Continue on from Mt. Arakurayama and proceed to the Kawaguchiko craft park right next to Kawaguchi Lake.   2. Mount Fuji: Full-Day Tour from Tokyo with Lunch

  Escape the hustle and bustle of Tokyo on a full-day tour to Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi. Transfer in comfort along the highway for approximately 2 hours. Then, go to the Fuji Visitor Center for the start of your Mount Fuji tour. See exhibitions that tell the history and ecological background of Japan’s most iconic mountain. Travel up the mountain to the Mount Fuji 5th Station, the highest level reachable by car. Enjoy some free time to soak up the panoramic views of forests and lakes.   4. From Tokyo: Mt. Fuji Full-Day Sightseeing Trip

  By joining the Fujisan day tour, you will be able to experience the most famous sightseeing spots nearby Mount Fuji. At 8:00 AM, depart from Shinjuku to Yamanashi prefecture, where Mount Fuji is located. Around 10:00 AM, arrive at Kawaguchiko Oishi Park where you will spend around 30 minutes. If the weather is good, you can capture a beautiful photo with the lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji in the background. Take a walk around the lake, buy a special souvenir from the shop or just sit down and enjoy the incredible view. In different seasons, you can also enjoy different flowers including lavender and kochia. At 12:30 PM head to Oshino Hakkai, one of the most famous spots in the Fujisan area, for around 1 hour.   Really well organised trip which visited really excellent locations at a bargain price. Fuji views were awesome. We were left in no doubt as to what time to meet back at the mini bus too during stops. I would suggest though dropping the trip to the shopping outlet as it meant that those of us who went to the peace shrine instead had less time there and it was rushed. It also took nearly four hours to get back to Tokyo, which was a shame. This was caused by a car accident, so it was out of anyone's control.
