Discover two of Xian's lesser-known sites, the Hanyanglin Mausoleum and Banpo Museum, on this full-day tour.
What to Expect
Your tour begins at 08:30, when your guide will meet you at your hotel before you are transferred to Hanyanglin Museum, situated near Xian airport. The mausoleum is the joint tomb of the Emperor Jingdi and his empress. It is the largest underground museum in China. The tomb combines modern technology, ancient civilization, ancient culture and landscaped gardens. There are two parts: the underground museum and the exhibition hall, which will take about 2 hours to explore.
Afterwards, you will have lunch at a local restaurant in Xian, before exploring the well-preserved site of Banpo Museum. Banpo is a village near Xian where an ancient ruin was discovered in 1953. The ruin proved this was a matriarchal society around 6000 years ago, besides the Chan River. The residents lived on fishing, hunting and farming. After exploring this fascinating site, you will be transferred back to your hotel where the trip concludes.
