What to Expect
The tour from Wroclaw to Gross Rosen takes just over an hour. After arriving, the driver will take you to the Museum of Gross Rosen, where you'll find an abundance of interesting information about the history of this camp, depicting the brutality of what happend here between 1941-1945.
After visiting the museum you'll take a tour around the camp, where the most important things to see are:
Camp gate with two guardhouses
Foundations of the barracks and crematorium
Camp bell Basement baths, prisoners’ kitchen, loom and barrack
Death wall - the place of mass executions (today there are memorial plaques here dedicated to victims of the camp)
Pieces of camp fence.
