Overview
Snorkel with whale sharks in the Ningaloo Reef of Western Australia on an 8-hour tour from Exmouth. See the biggest fish of the sea, with a guaranteed free tour within the next 3 years in the unlikely event that you see no whale sharks.
What to Expect
Start your day with a snorkel tour of the Ningaloo Reef, a fringe coral reef located off the north coast of Western Australia. Home to abundant marine species, look for migrating dolphins, manta rays, dugongs and more.

Then your tour guides will use a spotter plane to locate the whale sharks. From late March to August each year, the whale sharks converge on the nutrient rich waters of the Ningaloo Reef. The largest of the shark family, and the largest fish in the world, the whale shark is a harmless plankton eater, making it a perfect shark to swim with!

Reported to reach up to 60 feet (18 meters), but averaging 40-foot (12 meters) in length, the whale shark is easily identified by its wide mouth, distinctive pattern of white spots, and of course, its huge size. Thought to mainly inhabit worldwide temperate and tropical seas, it is rarely seen in shallow coastal waters, but is a daily visitor to the Ningaloo Reef during migration, when up to 30 whale sharks have been spotted feeding on the plankton in the nutrient rich waters.

In the unlikely event of not sighting a whale shark on your tour, you will get one free tour on any available whale shark spotting trip within the next 3 years.
