NYC: Hudson Tour with Sleepy Hollow and Walkway Over Hudson

NYC: Hudson Tour with Sleepy Hollow and Walkway Over Hudson

Our tour begins in the center of Midtown. From Grand Central we will take Metro North to Sleepy Hollow. There we will visit the historic hollow made famous by Washington Irving. You will get the opportunity to learn about this place and get to explore the historic graveyard. From there, we will travel up to Poughkeepsie. There we will visit the Walkway Over the Hudson where you will have breathtaking views of the river, the valley, and the nearby Catskill Mountains. From there, we will take the train down to the Hudson Highlands where will visit the charming village of Cold Spring. You will experience views of West Point, home of the US Military Academy and the sheer cliffs of Storm King. You will be shown some of the hidden gems of this location and then you will have the opportunity to spend the afternoon here. You can shop at one of Cold Spring’s many antique shops, take a hike on nearby trails, relax while eating lunch, or even have a beer in a barber shop. During our journey on the train, you will hear about many of the important and historic places along the way. In order to allow for maximum flexibility for you, our tour will conclude in Cold Spring, but you have the option to stay the afternoon and take a later train, take the train to another village, or head back to NYC at the conclusion of the tour. We will assist you!

Loved the history of the area. Bobby had a nice pace and presentation. It was a beautiful day to be there. Bobby was very kind when my husband came down with his sciatica and we had to leave the tour earlier than expected. He arranged Uber to the station and bought our tickets back to Grand Central. We will have to come another time.

Small Group Tour out from NYC! strongly recommended. Bobby is very attentive to guests.
