Full description
Discover the Palace of Culture and Science in a small group and find out why the building is so controversial for many Varsovians. The tremendous structure houses restaurants, a university, theatres, cinemas, offices, conference and concert halls, and a swimming pool in over 3000 different rooms.
Built in the social realism style that was fashionable in the 1950s, the interiors are covered with marble and mosaics that scatter colorful light across the vast spaces. On the top floor, enjoy the terrace where you will be rewarded with a marvelous view of Warsaw.
You will see, amongst much more, its:
• Main Hall
• City Hall Chamber
• Troika Hall
• Copernicus’Hall
• Chapel
• Warsaw Hall
Continue on to the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. Here, multimedia exhibitions await to teach you of the centuries-old history of Jews in Poland.
