Here, go back in time and follow the Warsaw evolution starting from the real fragment of the Old Town wall, through the period before World War II, to War damages, and finally the reconstruction process. Explore the boards, large-format photographs, plans, and city models with multimedia presentations at your own pace. Then, visit the second devision, the City Museum’s headquarter located in 11 tenement houses in the heart of the Old Town Square. Discover the core exhibition that tells the story of the city through the history of things that belonged to Warsaw inhabitants. Continue and learn about the tenement houses before reaching the viewing point. Take in breathtaking views of the Old Town with its colorful tenement houses. Climb to the 6th floor to marvel at the picturesque panorama of the Market Square and surrounding streets.
