Full description
This tour will give the chance to experience the moving history of the Polish Jews in Warsaw from the 15th century to 1943 when their history ended abruptly. The first place you will visit is the Jewish Cemetery. Amongst a lot of famous polish Jews is Ludwik Zamenhof, the creator of Esperanto.
The next stop is the former place of the Warsaw Concentration Camp (KZ Warschau), which is now the location of the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes. Here is the heart of the history of the Jewish Uprising of 1943. This is also the place of the moving moment of the Willy Brandt Genuflection. Next is Umschlagplatz, the Memorial Route of Jewish Martyrdom and Struggle in Warsaw (1940-1943). The Umschlagplatz was the last stop for more than 350.000 Jews before they were transported to Treblinka and never came back.
