    Great Sandwich Harbour 4X4 Half Day experience!

    We had a morning trip with Len in his Mitsubishi 4x4 van (3L V6). Comfortable and capable. Len was very knowledgeable and was easy to chat to. We headed south through the Salt Works (permission granted to the tour) with an explanation on how it is all produced. Across the marshy area with the long grass and into the lower sand dunes. Stopped at his favourite spot for viewing pink flamingoes. Brilliant colours offset against the blue water of the ponds and the green vegetation surrounding coupled with the sand as a background. Further along we started to climb into the big dunes. Racing up and down for quite a while to reach the viewing spot for Sandwich Harbour. Bubbly, fresh oysters, game snacks and soft drinks all laid out on a table in style for a late morning brunch. It was then up and down over some steep dune edges which was quite exhilarating. Back to Walvis Bay harbour jetty. All up 4 hours. Very well worth it for the variety and general entertainment. Strongly recommend.

    It was a fantastic five hours that took one into a journey to a place so unique and unspoilt that you could totally forget about everything else. Amazing scenes of saltpans, towering sand dunes, moon landscapes and of course, the icy cold sea. We had a great guide that was knowledgeable, courteous and experienced.

    Left a bit later than scheduled but this was to be expected as they waited for ALL who booked. Tour guide was knowledgeable of all aspects and could answer all questions posted. Food and beverages supplied on the catamaran excersion was top notch.

    Loved the experience. Traveling into the desert and seeing Sanwich Bay and the dunes was a “bucket list” item that met all my expectations. Our guide Bernhart was funny, informative and a great driver over the dunes. highly recommend!,,

    It was amaaaaazziiiing!!! I’d highly recommend. Being on the sea, almost in the middle of nowhere but deep blue waters is sooo calming.
