What People Are Saying About Volendam

Great guide, beautiful scenery, learned a lot!

Karel is a wonderful guide, full of information about the land, history, sights, politics - anything we could think of to ask questions about. We have a much better sense of the Netherlands after this trip, and are so glad we went beyond Amsterdam in our sightseeing. Karel was flexible and adapted the tour to our interests. His enthusiasm for what we were seeing was infectious. He also went above and beyond, delivering a left-behind cellphone to the airport in time for our flight home.

Very well planned.. Really enjoyable experience

It was a very efficient and smartly planned excursion. The places visited were really enjoyable. They were interesting. Just the right amount of time was given at each place..

Very enjoyable, professionally organised and well-paced tour

The guides were excellent, coach was nice, GPS guides were very informative. The tour offered a great insight into the region's history and was a highlight of everyone's holiday.

It was the highlight of our trip in Amsterdam!

The tour leaders were extremely accommodating, experienced and the tour was very informative! Loved all aspects of it.

WONDERFUL TOUR! We had so much fun and saw so much!

Apostle (sp?) was a superb guide. We so enjoyed his good nature, and his wonderful commentary. The trip covered more territory than we thought- and he remained super good company despite the fact that some of our group was less than prompt. I could not have enjoyed the trip more. I felt I learned more in half a day than I do in a couple of days on my own! Truly- a wonderful trip. I wish I could take it again. And my pictures of the day were stunning! All my friends back home are so jealous.
