Travel during the months of May until the 1st of October will be on a magical boat cruise, a fitting way to arrive back in the city center. In case of low water levels, the return to Budapest will be by bus.

A memorable day for lovers of nature and the outdoors awaits. Spend the day in the volcanic Visegradi Hills, where the memory of the old volcano still pervades. The volcano is no longer active, so there remains no danger. The starting point of the hike is at a tiny, romantic village on the coast of the Danube, called Dömös. Begin with the steepest climb of the day while you're still feeling fresh. After the climb, you'll find yourself on a ridge that offers beautiful panoramic views over the river and surrounding mountains. As you look around, check out the huge volcanic rocks that were left behind after the ancient eruption. After a few hundred yards more, climb to Predikaloszek, the summit with some of the best views in Hungary. This place is very famous among locals and visited the whole year through by nature-lovers. Stop for a snack at the lookout and take in the amazing scenery. After refueling, a nice and long downhill trek is waiting for you through a wild and untouched valley. During the descent, observe the power of water; see how it created ravines in the soil of the forest. Before starting your climb in the canyon, refill your bottles with clear spring water from water reservoirs. The Ram Canyon is a great adventure for all ages, boasting a nice cool climate, great depth, and waterfalls to climb with the help of ladders and rails. Head back toward the starting point filled with positive energy and unforgettable experiences. The whole hike is just over 11 miles; the trip is recommended for experienced hikes, but manageable for anyone who is in good physical condition.

I wanted a nice hiking trip in nature with nice views over the Danube river and this activity totally delivered and more, it exceeded our expectations, and the Sauna at the end of the hike is a nice addition. The guide was very nice and friendly with a-lot of knowledge about the history of the castle and the country, we enjoyed our time overall. So if you want a day trip near Budapest i highly recommend this activity :)
