What People Are Saying About Vienna Rathaus
For the price, it was nice tour. Skipping the line is good idea, but once you enter, there will be more lines you can not skip. Although I opted for the tour in english, the guide was speaking french (besides english), and it was very confusing for the most of the time.
The coach tour commentary in both English and Spanish was most confusing and left the ears feeling battered. His trying to describe places in two languages as the coach rushed by and fought with other traffic was most unsatisfactory. We felt that we had learned virtually nothing about Vienna. I think a single language walking tour would probably have been better. The Palace was impressive but the tour was a little rushed, again not helped by the dual language commentary.
There is so much to see in Vienna. This was a great tour to start with as it gives the locations of all of the important buildings with some history. The Palace was wonderful and the tour guide did a great job.
Very informative experience- the guide was fluent in French and English and was interesting and knowledgable.
The tour, in several languages, covers the buildings along the Ringstrasse, and includes a guided tour of Schonbrunn palace. We did the English tour. The palace tour is also led by your tour guide and uses private headsets, which help to make the tour easier to follow. This part of the tour is worth the cost alone. Everything was very efficient and our guide, Angela, was informative and friendly. You have time to visit the palace gardens at the end. Afterwards, the coach will either drop you off at the Belvedere Palace, where you can see the Klimpt paintaings, or you can be just dropped off instead at the Opera House. You can get afternoon tours of the Opera House on the hour if you queue up on the left hand side of the building twenty minutes before.
