Superb guide, really well organised and great value for money

Our guide, James, was really great and made the trip such a memorable day. The route you go on is not a hugely demanding cycle but takes in some breathtaking scenery from Domäne Wachau. You only visit two vineyards, but actually it's plenty and gives you an opportunity to spend a little more time in the beautiful Dürnstein. The organised lunch was excellent. My only regret is not bringing swimming stuff as the river was really inviting. If you're spending more than a couple of days in Vienna, I highly recommend this as a day trip to get out of the city and see some of the Austrian landscape.

We had a great day- even if 38c odd! Fun group of people. My wife and self are in our early 60’s and don’t do a lot of cycling- we managed fine even in the extremely hot weather. Ride is very much flat with only a couple of 200m sections that were a bit of a grunt. Iolo ( Welshman with a personality and lots of fun ) was our excellent guide- he shepherded us all with aplomb. If you have even a reasonable level of fitness this is a reasonably easy and fun day out. Thanks Iolo for making this a memorable day. Cheers. D and D. NZ.

We had a great time on the winery biking adventure through the Wachau Valley. We went with the guide Iolo. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the different wines. We felt secure with him because he is also a bike mechanic and checked with each of us regularly to make sure everything was ok with our bikes. He was funny and energetic, but still professional, making the whole day a fun and relaxing experience. We sampled several delicious and different white wines (and one rose) throughout the tour.

It was unfortunate that we started late and had to rush all day.

I think these tours should start punctual, and earlier. We had to rush through the whole day and some of the older tourists really struggled to keep up. It was advertised as non strenuous.. this implies that no level of fitness is required! We were fine- but we run often!! The expectations were false. Also- I got the impression that we would only be 8 guests... we ended up in a group of 16 and our guide was unable to manage the whole group.

Stefano was as awesome guide. Very passionate about this beautiful part of the world and keen to make this an unforgettabe experience for everyone. The bike ride was cruising speed with many breaks so certainly doable for those with average fitness and ability. Wine was very good and the food at the restaurant was authentic with large servings. Thoroughly enjoyable and would highly recommend this tour.
