What People Are Saying About Vienna

Coach tour was poor but the Palace was impressive

The coach tour commentary in both English and Spanish was most confusing and left the ears feeling battered. His trying to describe places in two languages as the coach rushed by and fought with other traffic was most unsatisfactory. We felt that we had learned virtually nothing about Vienna. I think a single language walking tour would probably have been better. The Palace was impressive but the tour was a little rushed, again not helped by the dual language commentary.

This was a well run informative and very enjoyable tour.

There is so much to see in Vienna. This was a great tour to start with as it gives the locations of all of the important buildings with some history. The Palace was wonderful and the tour guide did a great job.

The Treasury is a must see journey of Vienese History.

Attended on own. need to line up Early at Riding School @ 9 am to get a Seat, Expect to wait 1-2hrs. Need 2hrs or more to see the Treasury with Handset, really Amazing and very helpful staff

Treasury more interesting than imagined. SRS very good.

All in all a great experience. However, we were surprised when told that we HAD TO visit the Treasury BEFORE the Spanish Riding School. If known we would have arrived there earlier so as to give plenty of time to the Spanish Riding School. At the school the only thing that spoilt it were very young children making noise with the chairs. Couldn't there be an age limit?

Enjoyed but Problems Buying Tickets Online

Had a great view of Vienna at night by riding the Ferris wheel. I loved the historic murals, dioramas/models, and drawings inside the waiting area for this attraction. The one drawback was buying the tickets online. Did that while in the park because the prior purchase line was much shorter. However, you have to print out the ticket and still present it at the regular line. After purchasing online had to go over to the main information desk and ask them to print it to then take the paper ticket back to the regular line. So, I went through three lines after purchasing it online. Ugh. Fortunately, the regular line had shortened from the time I first started to purchase the tickets online.
