Vienna: Music Concert at Schönbrunn Palace with Wine
- Duration: 3 hours
Experience an incredible evening in classic style and enjoy the most beautiful compositions of Johann Strauss and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Enjoy the whole repertoire of classical music and admire the excellent opera singers and fascinating ballet soloists. Begin the evening with a 3-course meal in the in-house restaurant "Das Johann" and enjoy the Salonorchester of Old Vienna's music in the Kursalon. Hear beautiful operettas and impressive solo concerts by the 2 best composers in the world, performed with incredible artistry.
The concert was amazing. Most probably because it was the first concert after a long time. The venue is great, the atmosphere is great and the musicians, singers and dancers were amazing. The dark side of this attraction is dinner. There was wedding fest going on at the same restaurant with loud music playing, the tables and chairs were brought from the terrace and the seating has been arrange in the empty hall from furnishings that remain after the wedding fest. Just four-five table in the big room with loud music coming from the next door. No possibility to go sit outside where majority of people coming from the street ate. The staff really did not care about the people who bought this package. Just "ok, we have to somehow feed you". The service was bad, the food was also absolutely average. The cheapest possible option. If I go again, I would go to the concert but not to the dinner. You better go and eat what you want and sit where you want with the proper atmosphere.
A cruise through Vienna with a fitting culinary combination. The ticket includes a boat trip down the Danube and through Vienna. Start the tour at Schwedenplatz and redeem your voucher at the Vienna/City boat station at the DDSG Blue Danube. The ships depart just a few minutes' walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral in the city center. On board, the crew welcomes you. The ships are beautiful restaurant ships that sail both the Vienna Danube Canal and the great Danube. During the tour you will pass through two locks, a process that takes about 20 minutes each time. The tours are carried out with both the French designed MS Vindobona, which is now one of the sights of Vienna (departure 11:30 and 15:00) and the MS Wien, which has a large outdoor deck (departure 10:30 and 14:00). Both ships are air conditioned. The food is freshly prepared on board, the Schnitzel of course tapped, breaded and ...
Highly recommend the full 3.5 hour tour over the 1.5. You see a lot more of the Danube and the 1.5 spends a good 1/3 of the time in one of the locks. Don't bother with the food, bring your own and grab seats in the front of the boat for the best views.
Enjoy a nostalgic ride through Vienna with an optional bottle of the finest sparkling wine. Discover the beautiful city whilst your driver tells you exciting and unknown stories of Vienna's history. The rebuilt electro-vintage car is comfortable, wind and weatherproof, and offers 5 spaces. The drive will be clean, emission-free, and quietly. This is an enchanting experience for young and old. On your ride, pass by the most important sights of Vienna's first district such as Am Hof, Imperial Palace Hofburg, Volksgarten, Burgtheater, Rathaus (City Hall), and part of the famous Ringstraße. The drinks are served directly inside of the electro-vintage car during your sightseeing tour.
Great experience especially when you don't have much time for sightseeing, whole historic side of the Vienna in a nutshell
On this food tour in Vienna's Naschmarkt, you will explore the most famous market in the city! Your guide will lead you through the market immersing you in a world rich with scents, colors, flavors and of course history. As you explore the market with your guide learn about various cultures and their preparation and presentation of food. As a tasting market, you will have the opportunity to taste different foods from various stands throughout the market. Try olives from Greece and Spain, cheese from Switzerland, curry from India, pepper from Brazil, salami from Italy, wine from Austria and so much more.
I really enjoyed this chance to try a huge variety of things at Naschtmarkt and learn more about many types of cuisines in the world at the market where the Viennese shop for their most exotic, imported ingredients. The market is in a beautiful plaza and is such an experience. And Erika is a sweet and very knowledgable guide!
Pass the romantically lit shores and enjoy the excellent service of the on-board restaurant. Varied menus that are always freshly prepared on the ship provide culinary highlights. Come aboard the 'Dream Ship' and let your mind wander. The cruise starts at Schwedenplatz, just a few steps from the city center. Exchange your voucher for a ticket at the shipping station (after the checkpoint directly at the ship). The friendly crew of MS Wien is pleased to welcome you on board. The evening cruise leads past the lively bustle on the banks of the Danube Canal. Pass the Nussdorf lock and experience how the ship overcomes the dammed-up elevation and approaches the sunset on the Danube.
El crucero está bien, pero al hacerlo de noche no es mas que cenar en un barco puesto que no se aprecia el paisaje. La comida es correcta.
Discover the wonders of Vienna from a different perspective on this idyllic cruise along the Danube Canal. The trip begins at Schwedenplatz and sets sail onto the Viennese Donaukanal. Watch as the lock below is turned and the boat turns around to continue the journey. As you glide along the water, soak up the sights that surround you and enjoy a delicious warm apple strudel and a hot drink. Choose between a melange, hot chocolate, or a tea, then find a seat to admire the view. On the tour, see a selection of the city’s most iconic buildings, including the Uniqa Tower, Uranie Observatory, Jean Nouvel hotel and commercial building, the Schützenhaus by Otto Wagner, Ringturm, Roßauer Kaserne, Zaha Hadid House and the Spittelau waste incineration plant designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
It was a nice trip. But the Donau canal is really not nice and there is not much to see.

It was an enjoyable evening. It met expectations. Ideally the gardens are lit up as it was a bit dark outside.

An amazing day from start to finish! You don't need to be a lover of wine to enjoy this execurison. It's intimate, due to small group, filled with visits to several attractions along the valley. Our tour guide, Iolo, was great fun, full of stories and always great with answering any questiond. Highly recommend this trip.
The snitzel was good as was the wine and coffee. Even though the weather wasn’t the best the boat ride on the Danube was relaxing and beautiful showing off the diversity of bienna
The retaurant for dinner is a litle far from the concert. Orchestra very small 6 person with no joy
