Full description
Visit Vienna and spend a wonderful evening at Schönbrunn Palace with a tour, dinner, and a concert. Immerse yourself in the world of Empress Maria Theresa and Emperor Franz Joseph I and explore the imperial hunting lodge. Even today, it remains the location of political encounters. The magnificent architecture and exquisite interiors make Schönbrunn Palace an attraction that you should not miss. After the guided tour you can enjoy dinner at a restaurant in the Schönbrunn area, where you’ll be served a delicious 3-course meal. In the summer you can enjoy your meal al fresco. Feast like a king in sight of the palace and get ready for the concert. At the Orangerie Schönbrunn, you can enjoy music by Mozart and experience a concert in the magnificent concert hall. Enjoy the marvellous overtures, arias, and duets from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s concertos and operas, such as “The Marriage of Figaro”, “The Magic Flute”, and “Don Giovanni”. The most popular arias, waltzes, and polkas of the waltz king Johann Strauss will delight you during the second half, such as “Die Fledermaus”, “The Gypsy Baron”, “The Blue Danube”, and “Radetzky March”. The orchestra is accompanied by 2 opera singers – a soprano and a baritone – as well as charming ballet dancers wearing historical costumes. After the audio-guided tour, you may enjoy dinner of the following: • Tafelspitz (boiled beef) consommé with semolina dumplings (A/C/L) • Braised beef roast with shallot sauce, served with Viennese potato cakes & cherry tomato trusses (A/O/L/G) • Apple strudel from the Hofbackstube Schönbrunn served with whipped cream (A/C/G) A vegetarian menu can be provided on request in advance.

Absolutely beautiful experience. The Palace was magnificent. Shame we couldn’t take photos inside. We took the Grand Tour and the culture and history on show is awesome. We then had dinner which was only ok. But the highlight of the night was the concert. It was incredible. The concert included opera singers, dancers and musicians. It was wonderful and would highly recommend it. The only criticism was that we had front row seats and at intermission we had to wait a long time for our complimentary champagne because hundreds of others seated at the rear of the concert room were served first and yet we paid considerably more for our tickets.

Great experience!

The ticket place was difficult to find. Tour was facinating and interesting. Dinner was good but not great. Dessert was the best, service was good. Concert was in great location and good intrument players. The opera singers and dancers I did'n like so much. Maybe just the players with more popular songs would have been better?
