So many things to do and see in Vienna that we felt we didn't really know where to start. We only had a few days. Found this tour and thought it might be a good way to explore the city. The process was smooth....just paid the money (extremely reasonable compared to the likes of open top buses etc) downloaded the app and off we went. We meandered around the streets if Vienna solving the clues and marvelling at all to be seen along the way. The story of Augustine was both informative and fun. Had a lovely stop at an old Vienese coffee house where some famous people had called before us....not giving anything away. Lovely way to see the city on foot with the added fun of solving clues along the way.
I highly recommend this tour. You are independent, but not lost, the instructions are very clear and you get the chance to discover some nice places. I would suggest starting it in the first part of the day; the story leads you to charming Vienna corners and landmarks. You will need some time to wander the streets, take photos, stop for a coffee or lunch and visit some nearby attractions. At the end of the day, you will want more. :)
It was an enjoyable, easy entertainment. Puzzles are easy/medium difficulty level and keep you on track without boring you. It says it will take 51 mins on the ticket but took us almost 2 hours to complete it. It all depends on how much you want to read about the places and look around.
This game was a lot of fun and took us to some really interesting places that we would not normally have found ourselves. It was good to see historical Vienna and find out about the devastating plague. It was a perfect conclusion to our brief 2 day tour of Vienna.
Make sure you leave enough full daylight to finish because this can be near to impossible in low light or dark night even with well lit streets, landmarks and areas
