Full description

Discover one of the jewels of the Italian Renaissance on a day trip to the romantic city of Verona. Choose from the different departure points on Lake Garda, and travel in comfort aboard an air-conditioned bus. Upon arrival in the city center, admire one of the best preserved monuments of the Roman Empire — the Arena — still used for concerts and events today.

Then, walk to Piazza dei Signori and Piazza Erbe, before reaching Juliet's House. Admire the balcony under which, in Shakespeare's tragedy, Romeo declared his eternal love to his beloved.

Discover how the city developed over the centuries from your guide. Learn about the remaining artistic elements of different historical periods, including the medieval Castelvecchio, and the tombs of the Scaligeri family.

Admire the Roman bridge over the Adige River that runs throughout the city, before strolling along the lively Via Mazzini at your own pace. Enjoy the many shops and boutiques, before returning to Lake Garda in the afternoon.
