Arrive at Piazza dei Signori and marvel at the statue of Dante in the center. Behind the Della Scala palaces, see the well-preserved tombstones of the old lords of Verona and continue to see Romeo's house. At via Sottoriva, pass old porticoes and bustling local restaurants and head towards Bra Molinari. Here, visit the only Roman bridge left and take in the views of Verona's countryside. From the riverbank, you can see Mount Saint Peter, an Austrian fortress, and the remains of the Roman theater on top.
