I can only in good conscience recommend this museum for dedicated fans of Vermeer. (Note: There are no originals at this site, only replicas.) The bottom floor contains enlarged versions of all his works and additional background regarding his contemporaries. The upper floors contain information regarding restoration and some fun interactive activities. Touring this museum was a great preparation for visiting Mauritshuis and the Rijksmuseum the next two days!

My husband thought Michel was the best guide ever, he really enjoyed his funny jokes and interesting facts about Delft, it was impressive and his enthusiasm made this walking tour for us and our family from America, as they said: “Fántastic!”

Lovely guide. Explained a lot of details. Answered all questions. Gave good recommendations for further activities and to eat.

The signs for each painting. Made me see something I didn’t know for each.

Very educational, beautifully made and impressive!
