Spend a half-day in the Lison Pramaggiore wine region in the most eastern part of the Veneto. Discover the famous spot, known as the “wine route of the Doges,” and taste different wines, with local appetizers.
What to Expect
Enjoy a half-day tour of the Lison Pramaggiore wine region of the Veneto, and get to know the famous wine growing region where vines have been cultivated for more than 3,000 years.
Depart from Venice and make your way to the south-east of Treviso to a historical cantina. Surrounded by approximately 40 hectares of vineyards, this area is perfect for the production of high quality wines, thanks to the characteristics of the fertile terrain.
Typical grapes of the area include Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Refrosco and Raboso, Verduzzo, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Tocai, Traminer, and Prosecco. Upon arrival at the villa, you will get the chance to see how the superlative wines are produced, and to visit the cantina with its huge barrels of wine.
Then, enjoy a fantastic wine-tasting combined with appetizers of local produce. Try some delicious Veneto cheeses and salamis. You will also get the chance to stock up on a few bottles of vino to drink later, or to have shipped home.
