Explore the peak of Prophet Ilias, the island’s highest mountain, standing 2,000 feet above sea level. Discover the village of Megalochori or Pyrgos and chose one of them. Take an optional stop at Akrotiri Archaeological Site if you want to explore the excavations. Also, you can choose an optional winery and visit Estate Argyros or Venetsanos Winery, to taste the local wine. Admire the panoramic views, swim at the picturesque red or black sandy beaches, and relax over lunch at the seaside restaurant.

End the tour at Anhydrous Winery,Hatzidakis Winery,Venetsanos Winery or Artemis Karamolegos Winery (upon availability).

Start your tour with a visit to Hatzidakis Winery, which is located in the most famous village of Pyrgos Kallistis, on the way to the monastery of “Profiti Ilias-Santorini”. It is situated 330 meters above sea level. Have the chance to discover its unconventional structural design, constructed from above and moving downwards before tasting three of its exceptional wines. Continue with the wine museum in Mesa Gonia and get a glimpse of what life was like as a winemaker here. This one-of-a-kind museum happens to be nestled in a cave, a natural labyrinth eight meters below ground and 300 meters long, twenty-one years of hard work of the Koutsogiannopoulos Family. Learn about the stages of the winemaking process including ploughing in the vineyards, and then harvesting, stomping, and weighing of the grapes, about the range of machinery necessary to make wine all the way through to what is used today. Refresh your palate by tasting the family's renowned volcanic wines. Your last stop will be Oia and Sun Spirit Bar, one of the best places to watch the sunset. Relax and enjoy your wine in this idyllic space, as you watch the sunset deep into the sea.

The tour starts late in the morning by picking you up from your hotel. After a short drive the small group will reach the traditional village Pyrgos which is built on the top of a hill, you will walk to the top where the Venetian castle overlooks the caldera and get a panoramic views of the island. After the walk to the castle you will relax in Megalochori and you will have the opportunity to visit the famous "symposion" an amazing workshop of traditional Greek music instruments full of information about Greek mythology and music. Later, the group will drive around the castle of Akrotiri and will have a short photo stop to enjoy the view of the castle the amazing caldera from the south part of the island. Leaving Akrotiri you will have some free time to relax and enjoy a lazy break at the most famous black sandy beach of the island at Perivolos, where you can swim or even have lunch, tasting the local flavors. Continue to Emporio village, stroll around the small picturesque streets and see the best preserved Venetian castle which used to be the medieval trade center of the island. Afterward you will visit the Koutsogianopoulos Wine Museum where you will taste the local wines and learn about the history of winemaking by visiting the unique underground museum Subsequently, the group will make a short stop in Firostefani, where you can take breathtaking photos of the famous Blue Dome and the Rock Of Skaros, where the capital of the island used to be during the Venetian period. The tour will finish in Oia village. Explore the narrow passageways and discover the old captain's houses, the unique cave houses, and the romantic chapels. Later you will watch the spectacular sunset over the caldera while being inside the Venetian castle of Oia. After such a lovely day you will be driven back to your hotel.

Get picked up from your hotel and head to your first stop, Estate Argyros. The winery offers a captivating experience for wine enthusiasts. The expansive tasting room, nestled in the heart of their vineyard estate, boasts stunning ocean views, creating a picturesque setting for wine exploration. Learn how the winery focuses predominantly on cultivating and utilizing the white Assyrtiko grape, capturing the essence of the island's terroir. Beyond Assyrtiko, Argyros showcases their expertise with an Aidani wine, adding a unique dimension to their offerings. After Estate Argyros, go to the Koutsogiannopoulos Wine Museum. Visit this museum, located in a cave, and get a glimpse into the life of a winemaker at Koutsogiannopoulos Winery. The winery offers a variety of wines, categorized as young or aged white and red wines, rosé, semisweet, and sweet wines. From the museum, head to Venetsanos Winery, located in Megalochori. Admire traditional Cycladic architecture and stunning views of the caldera and volcanic cliffs. Venetsanos Winery presents a handful of wines for tasting, predominantly crafted from Assyrtiko and Mandilaria grapes. Established in 1947, the winery is the island's first industrial winery. Notably, the winery was constructed in an interesting way, from above and moving downwards, adding to its distinctive charm and providing a picturesque setting for your wine-tasting experience. Following your wine-tasting experience, you will be taken back to your hotel, filled with new knowledge of Greek wine.

Your first destination will be the scenic villages of Oia. Feast your eyes on the spectacular sunset and admire the unique Cycladic architecture displayed in the houses and churches. Immerse yourselves in this idyllic atmosphere. Continue your exploration to Firostefani, where you will visit the famous Blue Dome Church, a true icon of the island. Discover many natural wonders and go all the way up to the summit Mount Profitis Ilias, home to the monastery of the same name. This is the highest point of the island and words cannot describe the stunning views of the island, the caldera, and the neighboring islands from this altitude. The next stop will be Megalochori. With its warm atmosphere, historical mansions, and pirate hideaways, it is one of the most picturesque and traditional villages of the island. Visit the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri. Preserved by volcanic ash, the primeval houses and their contents allow you to time travel and give a unique insight into life in antiquity. The island is also famous for its wine-making tradition. Make a stop at Venetsanos Winery and try the splendid local varieties that Santorini is famous for. Complete your tour by making a stop at the famous Red Beach and Black Beach. If you are not in the mood to go swimming, you can sit back and admire the impressive red rock formations at Red Beach and the crystal waters adorned by the black sands of Black Beach.
