Full description

Escape the hustle and bustle of Venice city center on a tour of Murano. Head to Campo San Bartolomeo and meet your guide near the Rialto Bridge. Reach the boat station facing the lagoon, and jump aboard a public boat bound for Murano Island. Upon arrival, take a short walk to a glass factory, where a glass master will demonstrate the art of glass blowing. Watch as he makes a 2nd piece using sculpture techniques. Take a stroll to a mosaic or glass beads jewelry workshop to create your own piece from scratch. Work with glass elements of different shapes and colors to make a unique ornament or pendant. Create your own bracelet, key holder, or earrings. Enjoy some free time to explore the quiet streets of Murano on your own. Your guide with take you back to the boat station and advise you how to get back to your accommodation from there.

We had so much fun! I would highly recommend! We were running late to our meeting point but our guide came to meet us and picked us up! Once we got there, a different gentleman explained the art and history of glass blowing. He was so sweet and knowledgeable. My children must have asked a 1,000 questions and he seemed delighted to answer each one! We loved making the jewelry afterward.

Great way to see Murano and the glass factory was amazing. from the demonstration to the workshop and even the store where we received a 20% discount for being part of the tour which paid for the trip. Best part was we were in a group of 4 so there was no getting lost in the crowd or not knowing what was going on.
