What to Expect
Take a scenic tour of Cuba’s Yumuri Valley after a 150-kilometer drive from Varadero. Travel along the north coast of the island, passing through embankments, quarries, palm groves, and small countryside settlements.
Following a pick-up from your, transfer to the Yumuri Valley to snorkel at Playa Coral. Go to Saturn Cave and take a dip in the waters. Along the way, you will pass through the “City of Bridges” as you admire the cultural wealth of Matanzas, known for its poets and Afro-Cuban folklore.
Stop for a cocktail at Rancho Gaviota, and then visit the farmhouse to enjoy a typical Cuban lunch. Spend the afternoon enjoying all the facilities of the area, such as horse riding and walks along the lake. Get panoramic views from the viewpoint at Monserrate.
End with a 30-minute speedboat ride on the Canímar River, and discover the biodiversity of the flora and fauna of a protected area that is considered one of the most scenic in Cuba.
