Take a tour of Molson Coors, Western Canada’s largest brewery, and learn the science behind beer making. You’ll have a chance to see brewhouse operations, learn how to pour the perfect pint of beer, and taste a variety of beers that are made on site.
What to Expect
The Molson Coors brewery is opening its doors to the public for the first time since it was built in 1953. Whether you’re a visitor, a curious local, or simply a beer enthusiast, visit the site for a behind-the-scenes look at an iconic Vancouver landmark.
On this 1.5-hour guided tour, besides learning how your favorite beers are made, you’ll hear about the history of John Molson and the birth of a Canadian beer legend. Learn about the community connection and the company’s social initiatives as well.
You’ll be shown the science behind beer making, and discover local beer-making ingredients. See the can-filling and brewhouse operations.
Visit the John Molson Academy and learn how to pour the perfect pint. You’ll get a lesson in beer tasting and then sample a number of beers that are made on site.
The meeting point is 1550 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC. Please enter through the parking lot on W. 1st Avenue. Parking is available.
What to Remember
You must be at least 19 years of age (legal drinking age) to join this tour.
