Join the Bowen Explorer Tour and marvel at the Howe Sound islands, an amazing adventure to bird sanctuaries, harbor seal rookeries, and sea caves. Finish with a short visit of Snug Cove on Bowen Island. Soar up the coastline with the eagles, farther north than this trip has ever gone before. Travel deep into the sound your guide explains this extraordinary ecosystem that is home to harbor seals, bald eagles, oystercatchers, and many other creatures and organisms. The trip highlights the wildlife of the sound: seals at Pam Rocks and birds around Christie Island. Catch sight of some unique Bald Eagle nests and traditional First Nations locations.

Take in a true example of the west-coast fjord landscape littered with steep cliffs and hanging valleys. Darren was a FANTASTIC guide. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, and just amazing. Me and my three family members were the only ones on the tour that day so Darren tailored the trip to things we were most excited about. He even took a detour to find some humpback whales he heard reports of and I saw whales for the first time! He stopped for us to take pictures in different areas, took family photos for us, explained so much of what we were seeing, and made us laugh. The tour was worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Needless to say it was the highlight of our trip to Vancouver. Thanks Darren!

In my opinion, one of the most beautiful places around Vancouver, very impressive landscape! Our guide was great! He explained a lot and gave lots of interesting information. He also spotted lots of animals and approached them carefully. Where it was acceptable, he also drove pretty fast. All in all, absolutely recommended!
