Full description
Enjoy an exciting full-day tour in Victoria that's packed with activities. Your day will start with a ride on board a minibus in Vancouver that will take you to the ferry terminal in Tsawwassen. You will then be driven onto a ferry with on board amenities including a restaurant, gift shop, and arcades for the children. Walk around the deck while enjoying the scenery and look out for orcas, seals, and other marine life. Then dock in the port of Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island and tour the heart of Victoria. The area grew from the Gold Rush in 1841 and still displays many traditional buildings from the period by renowned Canadian architect, Francis Rattenbury. Once your guided tour is complete, enjoy 3 hours to explore the city at your own pace. Meet up and proceed to the magnificent Butchart Gardens, an area that stretches across 55 acres. Stroll through the charming gardens and admire its mix of traditional and modern landscapes.

Even though the ferries closed our day because of high winds you offered refund or rescheduling. We chose rescheduling the next day. Your driver also drove us around Vancouver to see a few sites and dropped us off at our request. Both drivers were friendly and informative. Good work under bad circumstances. A+

The tour is amazing Victoria's landscapes are fairy tale, more than beautiful, the crossing at the Ferri is a beautiful experience, the only thing I would have liked is to have had more time in each place of Victoria. Our guide Miss. Megan is super nice and very attentive. 100% recommended

    Great trip with great value!

Renting a car to board the ferry would have cost $85 one way, and that's not including the cost of the tickets to the Buchart Gardens themselves. Plenty of time to explore both the gardens and downtown Victoria. Wish the roses were in bloom in the Rose Garden, but I suppose that can't be helped (visited early October if that matters). Food is available for purchase on the ferry, buffet is $26 if the ship offers it. Otherwise, tea/coffee and pastries/sandwiches are available. If you don't mind the wind, you can go to the bow in the viewing area of the deck. Dusk time can make for good pictures. I didn't even need the mobile ticket, as the driver had a clipboard with my name for boarding. I did call in to confirm my pickup time at my hotel, and everything was pretty smooth.
