What to Expect
You will be picked up from the port or your hotel. Start your private sightseeing tour with Vancouver Library Square. See the building's truly original architecture. Next stop is Stanley Park, the most visited natural park in British Columbia. Here you will stop for the Totem Poles and Prospect Point where you can admire panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, mountains of the North Shore, the commercial Port and the beautiful Lions Gate Bridge from the highest point in the park. Then drive through a major shopping district and Beach avenue along the English Bay first beach.
After, you reach Granville Island. Stop here to wander art studios, craft galleries and the Public Market. This place offers a fascinating assortment of unique homemade products and very fine gastronomic delights. This artisan’s market exhibit local vendors who made all by hand their fine jewelry, fine art and photography, decorative ceramics and stained glass hats, bags, silks and many more.
Then enjoy a 15 min walk in the Queen Elizabeth Park and take a breathtaking panoramic view of the Vancouver Skyline and north shore mountain. Inside the park you'll find The Bloedel Floral Conservatory where about 500 species and varieties of plants from deep jungle to desert clime, all within the glass dome.
