Discover both Vancouver and the adjacent North Shore on this fully narrated 7-hour mini-coach tour. Led by an award-winning tour guide you’ll visit all of Vancouver’s major sites of interest and the amazing Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
What to Expect
This 7-hour tour provides stops in downtown Vancouver at Stanley Park, Granville Island and the Vancouver Lookout, as well as journeys through Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, English Bay and the Vancouver Harbour. Next, drive over the Lions Gate Bridge and in to the temperate rainforest on Vancouver’s North Shore to visit both the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and Capilano Fish Hatchery.
Besides the heart-stopping suspension bridge spanning 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River, the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park also features Cliffwalk a cliff-side journey through rainforest vegetation on a series of unobtrusive cantilevered and suspended walkways jutting out from the granite cliff face. Not for the faint of heart it is high and narrow and, in some sections, glass (very strong glass) is all that separates guests from the canyon far below. And no visit to the Pacific Northwest is complete without an impression of the Pacific Salmon life cycle at the Capilano Fish Hatchery.
