Enjoy travel on urban and metropolitan buses, suburban trains, and metro and tram zones AB, including the journey Valencia-Airport-Valencia (L3, L5). Discover the city with free entry to municipal museums and monuments, such as the Lonja de Seda, also known as the Silk Exchange, the Serranos and Quart Towers, the Fallas Museum, the Almoina, and more. Enjoy discounts at major city attractions, including a 10% discount at Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, a 10% discount at Oceanogràfic, a 12% discount at Bus Turístico, a 50% discount at Marqués de dos Aguas, a 10% discount at the cathedral, and up to 20% off your guided tour.

Know before you go

  • When you collect your card, you will be given a guide and a map with all the establishments and services where you will receive a discount with your Valencia Tourist Card
  • Children 0 - 5 years of age do not require a Valencia Tourist Card because they travel free on public transport and enter tourist attractions for free or at a reduced rate
  • Children up to the age of 5 travel free on EMT buses, up to the age of 6 on suburban trains, and up to the age of 9 on the metro and tram. They also enter tourist attractions for free or at a reduced rate. Children up to age 15 enter the municipal museums and monuments for free
  • The card is activated with its first use and no full or partial refunds will be offered
  • Identity cards or passports must be shown for children
  • The card is activated after using public transport for the first time or at any of the 42 readers. The card can also be validated at any attraction by writing the expiration date of the card with an ink pen

It is very worth buying this card. We picked it from the pick up point at the airport. You would need to change the ticket machine setting to English if you cannot read or write Spanish. It all works. The lady on the airport counter gave us a map and a booklet too, which was very helpful to understand where to go. This card also gives discount on oceanographic ticket. We also visited silk museum and we did not have to pay for any tickets as they were included in the price. I think, cathedral ticket is also included but as the queue to get in was so long. We just pepped in and moved on. So do check. We had so much flexibility with this ticket. We just tapped it and It worked like a charm and on Tram, Metro bus ( yellow) and EMT buses (red).
