The instructions are very clear and you are kitted out in lots of safety equipment including shoes. The walkway is bouncy but sturdy adding extra fun to the journey over oneside to the other. You can hold onto a hand rail to help steady yourself. lovely big viewing area at the top to take it all in. No one was rushed and a mix of ages from young to old. I booked online on the same day we climed very easy . This was to make use of a beautiful sunny October day.

In spite of the extremely heavy rain we had throughout the climb, we really enjoyed the experience. I am 76 years old and had been a little apprehensive about the climb but in actual fact I didn’t find it difficult at all and the view from the top was stunning - it would have been even better without the rain!

We had to wait an extra 18 months after first getting the ticket to climb the Dome as a pressie and finally did it for my birthday this year. It's a really good experience...just something quite different and good fun. Great instructor. We did the cable car straight afterwards too, worth it whilst you're over that way.
