This was a truly delightful experience with our tour guide, Brian. He took us off the beaten path, away from the crowds, creating a more intimate and unique adventure. Brian's guidance was both highly informative and filled with wit and humor, making the journey even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto as a fantastic side trip. In my opinion, Kanazawa remains an underrated gem for many first-time visitors to Japan.
Absolutely loved every minute of this experience! Learnt so much about Japanese tea ceremony and culture, it was fun and very memorable. Hiromi, Ryoko and all the ladies were so lovely and friendly, they looked after us well and made sure the experience was very special. I recommend hiring the kimono, just choosing the design and accessories are fun on its own. I would even do this activity again if I return to Kyoto!
It was easily the best experience in Kyoto for us. Totally worth the price. The hostesses are so gracious and you learn a lot of things in such a short time. We chose to wear the kimonos, which are SO beautiful. I didn’t want to take mine off! I recommend this activity to everyone visiting Japan for the first time.
One of the most incredible and beautiful experiences in Kyoto. The ladies from the place are so helpful and knowledgeable about the tea ceremony and wearing the kimonos was perfect. I highly recommend this place to everyone that wants to create beautiful memories in Japan.
