I chose this program because I saw in the advertisement, that there are hundreds of elephants in this national parc. Unfortunately the weather was too rainy, lets say stormy on that day and because of this reason I could not see so many elephants. This program was scheduled in the afternoon and how I' ve just mentioned before, it was raining. But in the morning was sunny, so why I was disappointed, that why the agency did not organize this trip in the morning, instead of the afternoon. I know, you can never count with the weather, but if they check the weather forecast before, they could have seen that in the morning was sunny and in the afternoon was between 80 to 100 % chance to rain ... I was the only person on this tour, and I was available in the morning too, so I don't understand why the agency did not recommend to me this tour in the morning.

Long road to reach the park from Colombo, but worth it! Seen a lot of elefants, buffalos, lizards, large variaty of birds, turtles and even a crocodile. The safari experience is not very crowded (as I heard Yala is) and there was enough time to admire the park and the animals. The driver from Colombo to the park was reallt skilled and the guide was nice, but needs to improve his english a little bit. All in all, don’t regret the money I spent, even though I paid double as solo traveler.

Dispite the rain, our guide Ruwan was on time to meet us at the gates. We had a fantastic day, seeing elephants and many other animals and birds in luding a croc! This safari is a fantastic memorable experience not to be missed.

The trip was very well organized. The contact was smooth. We got a plan over WhatsApp. During the Safari we had our own Jeep for 3 of us. We were accompanied with a driver and a guide who was very informative.
