If you are not staying in a local hotel (Tusayan/Inside the Park), please choose "Buck Wild Hummer Tours" as your pickup location, and meet at the terminal. If you are being picked up in Tusayan, pickup is generally 5-25 minutes before tour start time. If you are being picked up in the park, pickup is generally 10 minutes before tour start time to 10 minutes after tour start time.

Full description

Discover Grand Canyon National Park at the golden hour, when it comes alive with striking colors, incredible shadows, and moving light. Take sight of multicolored rock layers aboard a former military humvee, customized to ensure the best experience. Follow your professional guide and discover the most awe-inspiring viewpoints and lookouts of the South Rim. Listen to stories and facts about the Grand Canyon, including its creation, history, and ancient inhabitants.

After each lookout or viewpoint, enjoy enough time to capture memory-making photographs. The last viewpoint on this tour is to watch the sunset, and marvel at the dramatic color changes as the sun dips below the horizon.

Tours take place on paved, public roads; there is no off road travel permitted in the Grand Canyon National Park

Know before you go

  • Buck Wild Hummer Tours is located in the town of Tusayan, 1 mile from the entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim. We are NOT located inside the National Park, so if you are meeting us at our terminal, we are in the town of Tusayan, just before you enter the National Park.
  • -We do NOT pick up in Las Vegas, Flagstaff, Sedona or any other locations besides the hotels listed, located in the town of Tusayan or inside the National Park South Rim.
  • -Tusayan Hotel Pickup time is approximately 5-15 minutes prior to tour start time.
  • -In Park Pickup time varies, & could be approximately 10 minutes BEFORE Tour Start Time, to 15-20 minutes AFTER Tour Start Time.
  • - If you are getting picked up IN the park, your tour duration will be less than the advertised tour duration because you are not traveling into or out of the park with us.
  • -IMPORTANT: You MUST reconfirm your tour at least 24 hours prior to tour date so that you receive updated Check In or Pickup Information.

It was a lot of fun. The hummer was a great, open air way to see the canyon and its surroundings. We saw some of the other tours and they didn’t look as comfortable as we were. And our guide was great. He was very knowledgeable of the area and told us some fun facts we wouldn’t have known otherwise. And the sunset was amazing! Would definitely recommend.
