What to Expect
Visit the majestic Baroque Reggia di Venaria with a professional local guide. This castle, located just outside Turin, was the royal hunting residence of the House of Savoy.
On the 2-hour guided tour you’ll see the famous Galleria Grande, the Church of San Uberto, the gardens (weather permitting), and the love nest of Victor Emmanuel II and his mistress, known as La Bela Rusin.
The estate comprises 80,000 square meters of floor surface in the Reggia and 60 hectares of gardens, adjacent to the 17th century village of Venaria and the 3,000 fenced hectares of the Park of La Mandria.
Enjoy a tour of this natural and architectural masterpiece that was declared part of the world’s heritage by UNESCO in 1997. In 2007 it reopened to the public after one of the largest cultural restorations in Europe to date.
